Jeff Anderson Math Blog (JAMB) Posts

I dedicate my working life to empowering learners. My top-level professional goal is to use antiracist learning science to help people thrive. One way I work to realize my goal is to maintain a teaching blog dedicated to college educators. I have a strong interest in developing a community around college teaching. I hope to inspire, encourage, and empower any reader who has a strong interest in building a career in college education and a focus on student success.

With this in mind, I have a few goals in my writing on my teaching blog:

  1. Guide undergraduate and graduate students who want to learn more about building a career in college teaching.

  2. Help readers develop and expand their teaching skills.

  3. Stand in solidarity with readers who pursue life-long professional growth and development.

Throughout my writing, I put a special focus on community colleges since these institutions are the premier locations for student learning. Community colleges often offer students a better educational experience inside the classroom at a substantially lower cost compared with most 4-year colleges and universities. Below are the articles I’ve written on my teaching blog.
